Paris Jackson finally ready to face the press as she makes film debut in 'Gringo'

Paris Jackson is ready for her close-up now.

With Michael Jackson's daughter about to make her film debut in Gringo on Mar. 9 alongside Charlize Theron and David Oyelowo, the once-cloistered Paris is embarking on her first major film publicity campaign.

Jackson, who turns 20 in April, sat down for a short chat with Cosmopolitan for its April edition, answering a series of questions that convey her quirky, flippant, devil-may-care attitudes without actually revealing much or explaining anything in too much depth.

Her favorite Instagram account: @NASA.

Her weirdest quirk: "I'm too facially expressive."

The last time she was nervous: "Meeting Paul McCartney."

Something people get wrong about her: "I’ve been told that I look irritated 24/7 — but in reality, it’s only 50% of the time."

You get the idea.

Jackson, who has morphed from a sheltered little girl into an in-demand model, seems authentically passionate in her answers when asked when she finds someone hard to resist: "I feel that they see my soul." Or what she can't stand: "Someone questioning my integrity or honesty."

It's hard to believe anyone would have the nerve to do such a thing to the daughter whose tear-stained face we all still remember from the public memorial for her father, who died of a drug overdose in 2009.
